Can't get BBC site..

I can no longer log on to the BBC website(Sportsdaq game in particular.) I can't even get there by GOOGLEING the BBC and clicking on.Any other website is not a problem,but the BBC ones come up as DNS error or unavailiable.Now I know that the site ain't down cause I've accessed and logged in from another computer.I am totally stuffed as to why it shuts me out. Any ideas anyone-and I'm very basic re computers-" Move mouse,point arrow thingy.." is about my lot.

I'm listening to the beeb over t' web no prob', your link takes me straight to their homepage so, I honestly can't think where it's going wrong!

Thanks,but the same thing happens.."Page cannot be displayed.." etc.
The only thing I might've done wrong was to exit the site without logging off, but thats be done before without problems..

Have you tried to reboot your pc and start again .. might be worth a try

Cheers for the suggestion, but this problem cropped up last Saturday.The comp. has been off and on several times since.Must be some sort of 'block' or virus,but then if its a virus surely other website would be effected?????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????

Problems affecting the site today

It has been brought to our attention that there may be problems affecting the site this morning, in particular the movers and losers board and the leaderboard.

We have informed our technical staff and they are looking into this.

We hope to have any issues resolved as soon as possible. In the meantime we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause players.

The BBC is funded by what we call an extortionate fee, however they call it by the affectionate name of 'licence fee'.

As I know who you are KJ, if you send me half the licence fee over I will write your name on my licence and then they will let you have your access back

Well, thanks for all your interest and tips guys and gals, but I still cannot access the dam thing.As I mentioned prior,it must be 'blocked' which will be somewhere on my computer-(I must've triggered something inadvertantly).I hope I stumble accross it oneday soon,but in leiu of forking out a few zillion dollars to 'Need A Nerd' I will take the old kiwi attitude of " She'll be right and wait for it to sort itself. Meantime,I'm sitting on 1,999,954 pounds in the aforementioned SPORTSDAQ game and I can't do didly squat about it....
and Dave, why don't you come over here and collect it from me in person when you come to visit your sister??? of course it'll be in the form of beer...
