Help,!!!! Ive lost my colour.

Ive just switched my pc on and at first attempt couldnt get my monitor to come on, so I checked connection at both ends and finally got it to come alive.
Problem is , its a wierd colour

everything is brown . the pick I have on my desktop is black and whithe but!!! brown parts to it . if that makes sense .

Ive tried all I can think of . Its a TFT flat screen monitor and I havent done anything to it that may warrant it going funny so im really puzzled.

any suggestions please.

even my accyweb is brown

probably a dogy connection in the cable, check the plugs at both ends(some monitors have hard wired connection at the monitor end) are in tightly(try removing and refitting them to be sure)

whilst disconnected, make sure that no pins are bent in the plug

Well I changed the cables . Nothing!!! Just about to give up and decided to reformat so I was putting all my pics to disc etc. then my drive wouldnt open , everything froze so Ihad to shut down manualy .
Booted back up and hey presto everything back to normal.

Havent got a clue what caused it nor what made it right. So im on standby now until next time.
