how do i get my keyboard???
right having reformatted my pc after my disasterous pop up nightmare can someone please tell me how to get my keyboard back to normal ???
I think ive got usa keyboard and want it back to normal.... my @ is 2 and vise verse my pound sign i cant find,but should be shift +3  HELLLLLPPPP PLEASE........ |

hi cherokee
i had this problem at work last week all you need to do is go to control panel and select reginal and language options then on the regional options tab choose english uk then apply this change and all should be ok hope this helps

There is also usually a language 'toolbar' to the left of teh clock, click it and select UK on all options(Theres 2 IIRC)

Its not the keyboard thats at fault flashy, its teh key mappings. As in a windows configuration issue that thinks its got a US keyboard attached rather than a UK one (Some characters are on different keys)

Strangely enough mel I've seen laptops default to CY before now. I wonder why?

on my laptop i got 12 months ago its set with cy when i try to change it just goes back to cy for some reason.
