msn explorer won't work

When i double click the msn explorer icon and enter my login details i get a message saying "msn messenger service is not installed on this machine it is a critical part of msn and must be repaired before you can use it again, would you like msn to repair it for you" when i click this it goes to restart because it says "msn has encountered an error do you wish to report this to msn" Nothing i've tried seems to work, i'm using windows live messenger fine so i don't know why i can't get on msn??? can n e 1 'elp!!!!!!!

just use a browser directly. MSN explorer is just a warpper around IE,

I would recommend Firefox or Opera(my particular fav).

Mozilla | Firefox web browser & Thunderbird email client or Opera browser: Home page

both free.

Cheers Ian, is it ok to use Opera for msn but still use IE as my default browser?
