Post RPC Security Breach

Has anybody been having problems with their pc suddenly starting a countdown and then shutting down.
We have been inundated with people today who have been having this problem.

Oscar will put a post on to explain what to do to sort it out. Hope it will be useful.

Not had this problem but someone told me today about a new virus currently doing the rounds that prevents the cutting and pasting of text.

Post Re: RPC Security Breach

Patch has to be downloaded before Saturday, apparently, as Windows Update is what is affected and that's when it all kicks off?
