Re: Where to buy a cheap PC?

Do any of the asain shops along blackburn road do pc's? I know they sell parts but not sure if they sell the full things.

Hyndburn used furniture store seem to have a lot in, they might be able to help, not sure of spec etc though, tsar_nate may be able to help on this one

my mate Kev swears by this shop, he goes there all the time, its really close to where we live, and dead cheap aparently, its a shop slap bang in the middle of a load of terraced houses, on the same block as the Hole House pub, its just by the zebra crossing just before you get to the turn for tesco, be careful not to miss it

Emit was closed so ended up getting a £50 bargain from Use-It in Rishton. Cheers for the suggestions....

Did you notice if they had any cheap laptops. Only want one for internet access and Office and don't want to pay a fortune

It didn't look like they had any laptops at use-it, but the place in Darwen that mick recommends is definitely a good shop for second hand laptops.

Carphone Warehouse are giving them away free if you sign up to 3 broadband- PCWorld also have them free with a number of broadband networks - you can see the available deals online.
