Thumbnails

Whenever I click on one of the thumbnails the window appears and the "clock" spins - and spins and spins but the enlargement of the thumbnail does not appear. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Re: Thumbnails

Have you tried updating java on your PC, I am assuming you're using Windows.
I think the pictures are displayed using java.

You can right click and open in new tab/window to view the attachment

Ah, IE.
I had no end of problems with IE.
Cashy and Garinda suggested a change to Firefox....it was a very good suggestion.
It is a very good browser.

Firefox Is one of the best browsers. I use both Firefox and chrome, but mostly chrome.

Re: Thumbnails

I used to have my virus checker constantly warning me of problems when I used IE.....with Firefox I have no problems at all.
I was reluctant to change from IE, but it was one of the best decisions I have made(in computer terms, that is).

Re: Thumbnails

Absolutely Margaret one of the best decisions anyone can make is not using IE.

Firefox & ABP plugin/extension is essential for viewing the internet. You simply forget that popups existed :D also no script for anyone that visits anything slightly dodgy, but I don't bother with that since I don't visit dodgy sites ;)

Re: Thumbnails

I have used IE from the start but also tried the others. I have never had any real problems, only minor hiccups (the problem noted here occurred a couple of weeks ago), with IE and I am a great believer in "If it ain't broke......."
I do appreciate all the help that everyone has suggested, and I am quite happy with the solution that Restless kindly provided.
