I got it yesterday, it has lots of mini games and activities all designed to get you moving or tone you up, it weighs you and works out your BMI etc and you set a target if you want to lose weight. I really enjoyed it, will be having another go later!

I won the Fantasy Football at work so I've bought one for the family just set it up and done the body tests and it says I've a Wii Fit age of 12 less than my real age, it must be wrong because I don't feel it.:o

I will add you to my list but don't worry about the WiiFit age, I think it's a load of rubbish depending on 2 stupid tests, my age changes every day from 20 to 53.:o

Lesley my partner is 1504-6974-4499 :) Ive just raced one of you lot online (called Pob) and beat em :)

Jimbo T :horn8:blower

I will add her to my list later, when you're selecting your character just choose your mii but if it's not on the list you have to go back and win some races and time trials offline.

Pob is me and well done for beating me, I hate that course but why did you sign off after just one race, get back on now and play some more, chicken.:)

Hehehe - I thought right thats a win so I came off ;) Will be back online later on :)

Thanks for the tip about racing as my Mii - will get some wins under my belt off line so I can race as my Mii as its not in the character list at the moment.

And you are right - that number is wrong for Lesley - hers should be 1504-6794-4499 - apologies....

5. Now, you should see your Wii console number on your address book!

How to add friends to your Wii

1. Turn your Wii on.

2. Click on the Wii Message Board:" button located to the bottom right hand side of the Wii Menu.

3. Click on Create a Message (the first button to your left).

1 Attachment(s)
You use a 3 dongle so would need a MiFi at £49.99 to connect a Wii to the internet and I am not sure how much bandwidth they use. QUite a bit I would guess at.

Wii's use WiFi to connect to the internet and the 3 MiFi is a WiFi dongle that connects to the internet and then your laptop or Wii or iPod connects to it - upto 4 devices I think it is.

I think they are a smart gadget and only the size of a small mobile phone but I am a little weird :)

im not sure if you can do this with the wii buut if it has a lan card you can connect to your laptop with the network cable and bridge your internet connection and your lan connection allowing your wii to go online

instead of paying £60 for a xbox 360 wirelss adaptor i connect my 360 the same way using my laptop and play xbox live with no issues what so ever through my laptops internet connection

if you wanna give it a try give me a shout and i will look further into it to see if you can do it with teh wii as well

Neil 08-03-2010 12:38

Re: Wii Games

Wii's are wifi only but you can get USB to cabled LAN adapters for them.

Anyway the MiFi is great because you can stick it next to a window where reception is good then use the laptop anywhere in the house :D
