Youngest played it in Gamestation in Burnley this morning as Stanley and left it as Stanley and people behind him played as them as well so the answer is YES!!

I was just gonna ask the same question. If Stanley weren't on I wasn't getting it cos I felt ripped off last year.

Eh? were Stanley not on the xbox version? i've Fifa 2007 and 2008 on playstation 2 and they are on both of these.

yep your right stanley are on the x box and ps2 versions, however, the so called next gen consoles eg x box 360 or ps3 they werent on last year.
I haven't got it yet but will defo if the reds are on the 360 game

not got round to playing it yet on ps2 but been told off a few people they prefer 07

The likeness of the Stanley players is definatley better on 07 but gameplaywise i think 08 will be better when you master the controls eg (on ps2) on 07 pressing triangle passed the ball straight to your own player where as on 08 you have to actually direct the pass, so more skill is required.
