Sony PSP

Mate at work brought his new imported PSP in today. What a nice gadget! Really nice build quality, superb screen, excellent gameplay. This will be a very sought after piece of kit whenits launched in the UK in April or so.

I'm very tempted to get one. Link for anyone interested.

$499= ~£270 (don't forget you may get stung for import duty)

Re: Sony PSP

And won't there be problems getting games for it (unless you import them as well?)

Re: Sony PSP

Import a few to be putting you on then get them when they are released over here.

Re: Sony PSP

But isn't there likely to be a problem with compatibility (like DVD regions)?

Re: Sony PSP

just wait a little if i were you

expected release date over here is the 23rd march and you can pre order it for around £170 with no worries about import duty.

I can also count 27 pre orderable games which are released on the same day. Including Ridge Racer, Coling Mcrae 2005, Need for speed underground rivals, Spiderman 2
, Prince of Persia, Metal Gear Acid, Splinter Cell, Fifa 2005, Tiger woods, Tony Hawks Underground 2 to name a few.

Re: Sony PSP

Aye, but there are some people who will pay the premium to be 'first'. If that doesn't bother you then yep, wait for the official UK spec one.
