Since City were taken over by the boys from Qatar!
Berbatov is a target as well as Mario Gomez and David Villa!

Doubt anything will happen with David Villa as he only signed a new contract 3 days ago which will keep him at his club until 2014 but it's going to be an eventful night down at Eastlands.

That's right Gomez and Villa...£34m for Berbatov... we've got to be talking somewhere in the region of £70-80 million for all three... sounds like they are making it known they're looking for the very best players and have the dosh to back it up.

Re: Berbatov to Man city?

The Qatar boys were quoted as saying that they have the funds to buy any player the manager wishes to get. Maybe we could see a resurrection of the Ronaldinho bid?

Re: Berbatov to Man city?

Just read on another thing Real madrid have come in with a bid aswell They put a quote on the other site from Berbatov himself saying he wants Champions League football so the bitters are out of that recconing already But he has been at Carrington with Fergie most of the day,so Ill still put my money on him coming to the reds

Re: Berbatov to Man city?

It would be great to see the likes of Ronaldinho playing in England.. I do suspect he decided to go to AC because Man City are not the most glamorous of clubs, I think that fact, and not the amount of money they have is the deciding factor for top players.
