Fat Lad for City
Looks like the Fat Lad is going to sign for city, Renaldo (the Brazilian version) says he likes the plans put to him by Man City, along with the £60,000 a week which may just have a baring on it too. To me he's gone now, was brilliant when he ws younger, but hes injury prawn now, and besides that the Samba Boys have never done to well in this country, think they perform better with the sun on their backs

Can't blame them for not wanting him.
He is over the hill, overweight and has dodgy knees, why would anybody want him nowadays?

Re: Fat Lad for City
Big name signings, big PR. It's what moneybags investors demand, Loz. It's why Chelsea signed Shevchenko, even though he wasn't good enough for the Premier League. Any top player in Serie A is probably just about good enough for the Championship.
Anyway I'm glad City haven't signed him. Hopefully they will sign a couple of the top players like Villa/Gomez but integrate them into the current side rather than creating a 'superteam'. I see great things ahead for Micah Richards and Vincent Kompany

I know thats why they sign them but it doesn't do any good in the long term imo.
Think you have the right idea although i personally don't want to see city do well, sorry to any city fans but still not over the departure of sparky!

No need for sour grapes just because Sparkie took a step up in his career and Rovers got a substandard manager to replace him that brings in players form League 2
