its not the 6 months that is ridiculous but the fact that they won nothing and then sacked him. He should have been given at least a FULL season to see if he could get them some silverware then sacked if none. He did well in getting them to where they got this season but 2nd doesn't bring the glory

I`m not a big fan of Man Utd but i wanted them to win everything rather than Chelski as i think its a sad day when teams can buy the silverware, i know Blackburn bought the league once but that was only ever going to be a one off.
As for Grant i feel sorry for him as he was just made a scapegoat, for the teams ineptness on the field, long may they always be runners up.

Would murhino have done any better? I dont think he would, I dont blame grant at all, more the prima donna's like the big daft ivorian up front! who is quality on his day, but there are a good number of chelsea players who consistently under performed for grant and for his predecessor.
