Hughes may quit City
Its being widely reported that Mark Hughes is concidering his future at Man. City because of all the upevil with the owner who is wanted back home for his dodgy dealings whilst he was Prime Minister (he must be a mate of Gordon Brown). Looks like the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence

Re: Hughes may quit City
Always thought it was a mistake Hughes going to City.
Could have understood if he went to Chelsea or Utd but after what happened to Sven last season i always thought he was on a hiding to nothing.
He is expected to get City into the top 6,if he doesn't will he be sacked too?
Don't wish any ill feeling towards Hughes, what he did for Rovers was fantastic but i can't help but feel that he would have been better off staying at Rovers for at least one more season and can't say i would have too much sympathy for him if it all goes wrong which it is looking like doing at the moment.

Trouble with City is they are always playing catch up on United, and there fans are something else, haven't like the city fans since I was a teenager when there were some disgraceful scenes at Ewood and their fans were no much better than animals, unlike United Fans who are nearly all Southern Softies

Oh dear,City fans are known as 'Bitters' to United fans so I recon Sparky's going to make them even more so if he walks LOL

I totally agree cashy but its the Rovers Curse again, nobody seems to achieve much when they leave Rovers, especially Managers, the last one to really do anything when leaving us was Howard Kendal nearl 30 years ago

Re: Hughes may quit City
Seems the grass really isn't greener after City's result the other night!
Couldn't help but have a little snigger at hughes' expense.
Nothing against him but it made me feel a bit better about things!
