Clarets legend Coates seriously ill in hospital after strokes (From Lancashire Telegraph)
Former Burnley Player Ralph Coates is seriously ill in hospital after having two strokes, was a great player in his time for both Burnley and Spurs, hope he an make a recovery

Saw him play a few times, debatable if he had a better comb over than Bobby Charlton, but a great footballer who always gave his all, and then a little bit more. R.I.P

Yep .. when I was a Burnley fan (after being a Rovers then Everton fan).. there was many a time I'd be in the Long Side seeing Ralph steaming up from midfield blasting balls into the goal or over the beehive.. class player and always give it some!..RIP Ralph.. a true legend.
