No real connection to Accrington Stanley, except for maybe through our Welsh centre-half Tom Bender, but a massive loss to the world of football I'm sure you'll all agree.

I was shopping in Thasda when I heard this, thought I had mis-heard, put S.S.N. on when I got home.....
Not many nice blokes in footy, but he was one of them!!! R.I.P. Gary Speed!!!!!! Tragic loss.

Heard it on the radio, so checked online.
Lots of comments on news sites, speculating he died in some Michael Hutchence type autoerotic game. FFS he was only found this morning! It's just very sad, to have your life ended so young. He always came across as a sound, genuine bloke. His family must be heartbroken. R.I.P.
