Blackburn lost against bournemouth in the 2nd round of the league cup. Despite having around 16 shots on target to bournemouths 4 blackburn still lost.

All three of their goals came from defensive nightmares from the rovers back four.

That a division 2 side managed to beat us. Granted the side we played had 9 changes from saturday and was mostly reserves but they needed to be tryed but yet most of them are still internationals and should sweep these sides away.

Rovers are pathetic. If they can beat a League 1 side with your first team then premiership status is in doubt........and as for Tugay, do Turkey have a rugby team?

But the thing is that wasnt a first team, it had 9 different players from our game against pompey. Even brad didnt play, i`m sure he could have saved some of them shots.

Enckelman, Neill, Amoruso, Johansson, Gresko (Gallagher 85), Emerton, Tugay, Douglas, De Pedro (Pedersen 57), Bothroyd (Stead 61), Jansen.

I watched Rovers last season.......all of them are first team except Enckelman who is a Premiership keeper!!

Stanley.....a Conference side beat them and as for Rovers a Premier League side who can't beat Bournemouth is pathetic.

Shame really!......hehehehe

The first team played against pompey not bournemouth.

Listen we are in the Conference and we BEAT Bournemouth you are 4 divisions higher than us and got BEAT BY Bournemouth........

The reality is that Rovers are a better team than Stanley obviously! I'm sure that Bournemouths performance against Rovers was a damn sight better than against us and that the team was different as well. I cant see the point in comparing Stanley and Rovers via a team they have both played 10 months apart in different circumstances - why bother as only an idiot would say that Stanley are better because we beat Bournemouth and Rovers didn't. However we all know which is the better club and which ground has the better atmosphere - so come back Slater Scott when your fans actually make some noise.....

Only penalties separated each team on both occasions.
