Should Inter be allowed in CL next season

This clip depicts the aftermath of Inter Milan being knocked out of the Champions League on tuesday night. Talk about bad losers. The only thing is I dont think a proper punishment will be issued due to the fact it is an Italian club and I've just heard that the majority of officials in UEFA are Italian.Wonder what would have happened if it was a British club invoved.

I think they should not allow Inter in the competition next season and Valencia should be kicked out this season. After all it was Valencia's reserve keeper in the tracksuit who started the ball rolling when he punched the Inter player breaking his nose.

Re: Should Inter be allowed in CL next season

Very true. UEFA need to hand out a large punishment to both teams. The Champions League is the ultimate club competition in the world, it's watched by millions & shouldn't be marred by such disgusting scenes like we saw on Tuesday night.

Italian Football is in tatters at the minute. Ban them for a few years just like we were.

Yes I agree Ian,but action also needs to be taken on Valencia.Whose reserve keeper came running on to the field and punched the Inter Milan player breaking his nose. The question is should they be expelled from this years competition?

Re: Should Inter be allowed in CL next season

They should throw Valencia out and allow them to be replaced by one of the teams who went out on away goals. That would be Real Madrid or Barcelona therefore keeping Spain as a nation happy

They should then ban Inter for next season. Am I not right in thinking Inter only qualified through the back door because of the problems in italy last season ?

Dont think they will let another team in,I think it will cause a bigger head ache because each of the teams knocked out on away goals will think they deserve it more than the others and it would probably cause one hell of a pantomime.
I think you may be right on the other aspect Dave cause I think Juventus won the league only to get relegated because of the 'irregularities'.
