Tesco Girls Football Week
 As part of the FA Tesco Girls' Football Week (22 - 26 June 2009) Accrington Girls and Ladies FC have bees selected by the Lancashire FA to host a major event at Hyndburn Sports Centre on the evening of Tuesday 23 June. The event is aimed at either new players or players returning to the game. It's expected that some of the current England Ladies Team will be present alng with Tesco Skills Coaches. The event also coincides with the launch of "Accrington Acorns" aimed at Primary age girls receiving expert coaching but in a fun environment. The event is open to girls aged 6 through to adults Further details are available on the clubs website at www.aglfc.org.uk and promotional material is also being sent to each school as well as being distributed at the carnival |
