I know one or two in the Clayton End can become a tad aerated at the refs' decisions but they aren't this bad.

I read that the ref stabbed a player and that was why he was lynched.
I always considered that sport was a war substitute.

Spanish police officer suspended for alleged attack on soccer referee - UPI.com It only seems to be referees though, not innocent fans.
