Hyndburn Sports Awards 2012
Accrington Girls and Ladies achieved a hat trick in being awarded the Hyndburn Community Club of the Year 2012 at the Sports Awards evening held at Accross on Friday evening. It was the 3rd year in succession that the club had been awarded the honour and the club also won the award in 2004 and 2008 a remarkable achievement for the club which was only formed in 2002.
The club work hard to promote girls and womens football in the local area organising taster sessions for girls, visiting local schools to publicise the club and taking part in the Accrington Carnival etc Anybody interested in girls or ladies football or the work of the club should contact the club via our website at www.aglfc.org.uk |
