Primary Schools Girls Football Tournement
Congratulations to Mount Pleasant Primary School who today won the Primary Schools Girls Football Tournement held at Wilsons.
There was some excellent football played and the sportsmanship by all of the players was supurb with Baxenden CE Primary School winning the Fair Play Award The tournement was organised by Accrington Girls and Ladies FC as part of it's committment to raise the profile of girls football in the Hyndburn area. The club is poing from strength to strength with nearly 100 members from age 6 to adult making us the largest girls only football club in the locallity.
