Post Car Insurance

I am sure that like me you guys are stung with high motor insurance. and when renewal day comes, it seems easier to agree to the fee your current company wants than it is to shop about.

Ive just been given the web address for a company that takes your details over the net and aquires quotes from many different companies. so you enter the details once, get the cheapest quote possible and you can view all the quotes that they recieved, and its all done within the hour.

ive just got a quote (even though my renewal isnt due)
and the best quote was allmost half what i pay now!!!!
Well impressed, give it a whirl www.confused.com. i think you may be pleasantly surprised.

Post Re: Car Insurance

i used www.its4me.co.uk and they knocked £170 off churchills price. I then rang churchill and they said they would not match it but as a gesture of goodwill they would knock £50 off their original quote! still £120 short

I used www.quotezone.co.uk - its4me are on their panel so you can see if any of the other companies beat them without going to all the different websites. Its4me gave me the 2nd best quote i got actually on quotezone.

I'm just having a laugh at all these people so happy cuz they think they've saved so much money. They might not have spent as much but haven't saved a penny.Insurance is and will always be a total rip off.

Re: Car Insurance

Being a financial adviser, I have access to an independent broker, who deals with every type of general insurance you can think of. They saved me over £100 on my buildings and contents, from a 5 minute phone call.

They said that the only thing they may not be as competitive is young male drivers, but everything else they think they can save you money.

If you want more info, pm me with a phone number and time to call you back.

Tell that to the police when they stop you for having no car insurance. That's worth a fine and a few points on your licence.

Or the person with no buildings and contents insurance. If you have a mortgage, the lender makes it a condition that you have buildings insurance. My contents insurance covers frozen food (among other things) so if you have a power cut and it all defrosts you can get it replaced.

Insurance in some cases is obligatory. In others it is peace of mind

Yep.. Car I have to..House is peace of mind.. year after year paying for it and never using it..

Well once in forever...20 years ago I ahd a fish tank crack and the water flooded the front room carpet... They wouldnt pay out for tank or fish but said they would send someone round to look at carpet.. I said it got wet with fish water.. its now outside in the rain... cheque arrived a week or two later ... thats my only insurance claim....

Already mentioned but ....... I just renewed through its4me I was going to renew through the post office but its4me got me a quote from the same company for the same cover for £1 less. £1 is damned impressive if you're as prudent with money as I am
