San Marino Grand Prix

So, anyone have any thoughts on who might win this weekend at Imola?

There has been plenty of testing going on, with BAR thinking that they are finally in with a chance - they have turned a corner, apparently!

A couple of driver changes also this weekend sees Vintantonio Luizzi replace Klien in the Red Bull car, and Montoya is still not recovered from his shoulder injury, so Alex Wurz is set to take the wheels in his place.

Pizzonia is also on standby for Williams as a precautionary measure only, but I would expect Webber and Heidfeld to race.

On a side note, it looks like Ferrari are very interested in Kimi Raikkonen to replace Schumacher when he retires, although Ferrari of course are not openly admitting this. All they will say is that they are interested in a young man who drives for a German-English team to be the better choice than Fernando Alonso (who has won the last 2 races)

Re: San Marino Grand Prix

I think BAR need to turn more than one corner to have a chance - although I am still hopeful they can get Button his first win. I think Redbull are doing an excellent job & hope that Coulthard finishes in the points. Other than that I'm just looking forward to a good race - it seems like ages since the last F1! & also it's on at a normal time - so no getting up at 4am or trying to stay awake all night!

Kinda off thread - but have you ever been to see a F1 race Vorlon24?

I'm afraid I've never been to a F1 race, but I would like to when I can afford it!

I went to the MotoGP at Donington last year, which was great - I saw another Rossi victory!

It's quite weird - Rossi wins everything in sight and everybody loves him and thinks he's great. Schumacher wins everything in sight and he's making the sport boring.

Did they not stop to think that Rossi actually has a personality to go with it all, and he's not seen as an arrogant git by most of the paying public?
