Useful info

If you need to drive a car for a day or so there are insurance co's that will do cover from 1 day.

I've just used Short Term Car insurance, Van Insurance, from dayinsure.com to get cover for a group 20 car for a day, fully comp for 24 quid.

dead easy to do as well.

(Yes, I'm picking up a new car..... details and piccys to follow!!!!!)

heh, I bet it wasn't a group 20 insurance car thoough

rather makes a difference

Its useful for things like I'm using it for, i.e. bring home a car that you have bought( and can't drive on teh 3rd party aspect of most comprehensive insurance policies ).

As it is my annual policy ends in less than a fortnight and they wanted more to amend it than I can get the day cover for so I will drive the Volvo till then and switch over on renewal.

Re: Useful info

Sounds Cheap - £24.00 x 365 - £8760.

Also whatch how large the Excess is ? £500.00.

It could be cheaper to add the vehicle as a temporary car to your existing poilcy.

So go on what have you treated yourself to.

Re: Useful info

all will be revealed soon

I know extrapolated that its not something you would pay for long term but as they wanted 35 quid to provide a days cover on my existing policy so its cheap for teh odd one off policy. They were also not keen with it being such a high group.

@Flashy Group 20 is the Insurance rating. Its effectively the highest group before you are into totally specialist stuff.
