How do I put a picture in my posts now, as the gallery isn't up and running yet after the hacking?

I can put pictures in a post (thanks to Willow for that) but when I do it has the "attached thumbnail" thing at the bottom. Nobody else seems to have that when they put a pic on. How do you do that??:D

There are two ways of doing that - either it's in another post somewhere on AccyWeb - or you host it yourself somewhere else like photobucket, which is very user friendly but if you want to use that ad get stuck just ask and I'll help you out as best I can. :)

I have got some pictures from the meet. but when I put them in a post they are huge, how do I resize them or put them in thumbnails?

Open them in an image editing tool, resize then in there and then save them(Use a new name so you don't lose teh original)

I use The GIMP but there are lots of free tools available and you probably got one with teh camera software

Have you got Microsoft photo editor?

I could tell you how to do it in 'Paint' if you like but photo editor is quicker.

Or to resize a whole bunch of pics at the same time I can recommend a thing you can download.

Before you download that, look for 'pixresizer' - it's brilliant and very quick.

If you want to know how to do it in Paint let me know.

Re: How do I put a picture in my posts?

If you (or anybody else) still want to do this in 'Paint':

Open your photo in 'Paint'.
Click on 'Image' in the toolbar.
Select 'stretch and skew'.
Use the stretch option.
In the boxes which say 100 replace that with a smaller number.
If it still isn't small enough - repeat as required.
Then save the new sized image.

If you need to check it for size (for uploadability to AccyWeb for instance) click on image and select 'Attributes'. That will tell you how many pixels deep and wide but also how many bytes the pic is.
