Oh well there's an easy answer to that. If you go back to where you posted it in this thread and get the URL (higlight and copy it) then go into "edit signature" in your UserCP. Click on the pic of a mountain to insert an image in your sig then paste the URL in the window that pops up. (eliminating the http:// bit already there because you'll have that in your URL that you copied.)

Oh I really am quite numb

when it comes to things like that. I can't find the URL all I can find is that it says tinkerbellblinkie.gif and it's having none of that. I think I will have to admit defeat, I've tried a few different things to get it on, all to no avail!!

Just copy and paste that in but make sure you click on the image tag first and paste it in that window.

Grr flippin thing abbreviated! Now you'll have to remember it needs http:// in front of it.

I've tried about twenty times to get old Barney to down load as an av, but it keeps not working

,can anyone tell me were Im going wrong please? I'm a spanner at this sort of stuff but the kids will laugh at me if I've got to ask them again!

OK, just follow this:

Go and look at Barney where I posted him.

Click on him and in your browser bar you'll get the URL. Highlight and copy that. Then go to the edit avatar page in your User Control Panel. Go down to the section where it says use a custom avatar. Select that by clicking in the little circle so that a dot appears there and then paste the URL in the appropriate place.

Don't forget to click "save changes" at the end.

Some of these are really hard to do I've been playing with another blinkie but I don't think it's going to work. I'm not right good with paint!

Blinkies don't blink in Paint because Paint isn't an animation programme. Give me a minute and I'll make that one do something.
