I just bought a Canon ip4300 from PC World last week. Web price is £57.26. The great thing is that all the cartridges are separate colours so you only replace the one that needs replacing.

Re: new printer

Make sure you get one where you can have the cartridges re filled: I got a new Epson Stylyus DX6050 and it is going to be some time before you can get them re filled: they changes the pins on the chip or something like that: good printer but cost the earth to run:

hi, not too bothered about printing photos, just a cheap basic one, maybe one around £40 to £50.

Re: new printer

I always use Epsom. Cartridges are about £5 for a pair of black & colour from PC Cellular on Blackburn Rd. I've got a Canon IP4300 for work, not too bad. Cartridges are £8.99 from Cartridge World on Whalley Rd. There are 5 different cartridges in it, only £5 to refill each one though.

Re: new printer

The members had a collection for Annes 50th and we bought her a Epson R240
as mez says it takes 4 inks and they are £8-£10 a set on blackburn road
very good prints too i think the printer cost £60 but you can get it cheaper if you look round
