Picasa Photo Album

This is a free photo album for your PC, if you have lots of photo's on your PC it will find them all and keep them in order, has some great tools in it too.
Its a free program from Google, here's the link

Re: Picasa Photo Album

Nice-one KSH.

I’ve had it now for a couple of days, starting from the day you made your post.
I haven’t really spent a lot of time with it just yet but it looks very good, it has already found photos that I had forgot about.
This could be a good tool for everyone.
Cheers.

Re: Picasa Photo Album

It looks good. The only thing putting me off is the possibility that it might organise things in a way I don't want them organising. For instance I have a folder full of emoticons which I have added on different dates. I wouldn't want them messing with.

Some of the "photofix" things I already have in PSP or Photoshop but there are a couple of other little bits that look like fun.

From your experience with it can you assure me that it won't move things I don't want moving? Also we've got 4 different people using this PC with 4 different desktops and sets of "my pictures" as well as a set of "shared pictures". Will it mix them up with each other?

Re: Picasa Photo Album

It doesn't actually move anything, it just finds everything and remembers where they are, all your pics will stay in the same folders

K.S.H. you are a star...... I loaded this onto my sister-in-laws computer and now she thinks that I am some sort of expert.... she was very impressed with the program......I told her that it was the program that was clever not me! I think she will be messing with her photo's for hours.
