A "Good ole Boy" gone

Sadly the Country star Don Williams, has passed away aged 78. I know country music isn't to everyones tastes, but the gentle & melodic ballads of the "Gentle giant" were a large part of my growing up. My father enjoyed the Dons music & those distant days (& even now) doing Dad & Lad things together his music was & is a shared pleasure that will always contribute to a wealth of good memories.

I don't know half of you as well as I should like, and I like half of you, half as well as you deserve. (Bilbo Baggins)

I thought he might have been older than that...sad when all these stars(and they were stars) shuffle off this mortal coil.
I liked to listen to was easy listening, tuneful, melodic.
Rest in Peace Don....teach the angels some good ole country tunes.
