Best Christmas Record?
whats the best christmas record ever? whilst the best selling record of all time is Bing Crosby (White christmas) i dont think it holds a candle to Phil Spectors - Christmas Album, every track a gem.

Re: Best Christmas Record?
I like Mariah Carey's 'All I want for Christmas is you.'
and 'When a child is born.' I'm not sure who sang that.

Interesting choice never made me think of Christmas, although I prefer the version by Sarah McLachlan.

Re: Best Christmas Record?
I still like white christmas, but your information is wrong cashman, white christmas, having been the best selling single for decades, is now only the best selling christmas record of all time, the title of best selling record ever belongs to a certain Elton John for the candle in the wind - tribute to Diana.

I'm with the sad looking moggy............McGowen a & McCall's Fairytale of New York is a modern Classic.
But that said there are so many wonderful Christmas records that pre-date the 70s......
