Yet another sad loss in the year that cost us John Peel.
i have to really thank you on that link.great guitarist.its soon the anniversery of his death.i loved magazine and even more so banshees.i recall banshees called him in to find a guitar riff for happy house when thay had no guitarist and could not believe his skill on that track which even the likes of the great robert smith said was hard to reproduce on that track.john then jpoined banshees on a permanate basis and so on.

Yep , there's tons of 'em , James Burton who played with Elvis Presley and Buffalo Springfield, Stefan Grossman (acoustic blues) and the Deadhead, Gerry Garcia, to name just a few more..... the list is endless....... John Fahey and who was the bloke with Booker T ?.......... Steve Cropper. and Lowell George great slide player with Little Feat. Love that feller , sweet voice too (RIP)
