I'm absolutely addicted to Editors' new album 'The Back Room' - they have the musical refine of New Order with the driving booming vocals in the style of Ian Curtis (Joy Division) ...anyone think that Editors are/could be better than the new wave heroes?
I have been well impressed since first hearing them a few months ago....It was a recomenation from a friend, and what a recco! The same day i heard it first, they were in the telegraph with ticket details...Needless to say a rang me'ol buddy stanerlee and booked 4 of 'em!
Good band yes, very very similar vocals to Ian Curtis but I'm with Al, Joy Division were pioneers

We got a new roof, & a bar on the Clayton End & a new school in Nepal. Beat an Ex-Premiership side away, had some more tarmac laid over the puddles & saw a 3 inch high header. ASFC Youth system saw youth inthe first team & more importantly we signed a "pub"! Remember 6 points off Morecambe & paid our highest fee ever for a player. All this & still "light" years ahead of Barrow & Worksop!!!!!
