re: Dare I ask? Does anyone like Motown?

I love Motown Music and still have the Old Vinyl LP's up in the loft

I have of course replaced them with the CD's and my favourite Motown Record of all time has to be

Way Back Home by Jnr Walker - every time I hear it great memories of that time come flooding back

Currently in demand, hard to find classic from Gladys. I gave 25p for a mint copy at a 2nd hand record shop in Blackburn. It was going then for around £50, I rocketed out of the shop before he got the chance to ask any questions as to why I was trembling. It's the B side of TMG 864 "Take me in your arms and love me" re issue.

Oh! yes, that's right, what a blast from the past. I can remember drinking coffee in there with Paul Mackey and Tony Palmer and begging for lifts every time we wanted to go to the Wheel

Susan, Tony Palmer and his brother, Dave Bickerstaff are still around. See 'em regularly on the Stanley.

Dave is a member on here, under the name "Bicky".
