I have kind of mixed thoughts about this , 28 years since the release of "the Long Run" the Eagles plan on releasing a new studio album, granted the group still puts on a good show and can still fill mid-size venues (3000/4000 seats) but the audiences are mostly folks over 50 on nostalgia trips wanting to hear the old stuff , can't really see the youngsters going for it .

I love the Eagles!
I agree with you steeljack that the majority of today's youth are too wrapped up in plastic 'r n b' & dance crap to appreaciate bands like the Eagles but I'm excited about new material.
dont mind the eagles at all, but prices for their concert tickets are a joke, was gonna go see em 2/3 yrs ago but wouldn,t pay it. go to quite a few a year but NONE were as extortianate as them. look forward to hearing the new stuff though.
