Re: editors
I don't get it, are you showing them off as a new band?
They have been around for quite some time you know.
A lot of hardcore Joy Division fans I know dislike Editors a lot because they don't seem to be bringing anything new to the table.
For me they're Joy Division without the excitement & poignancy of lyrics.
& they've got crap haircuts.

Re: editors
They aren't exactly new but a good band.

Re: editors
well i like them.. its not a band that will change my life - Joy Division did - but its entertaining... ive read some negative reviews of their 2nd albums but i thinks its actually nice, even tough some think they have basically repeated the 1st album
ive seen some of their vids playing live on youtube and they really sound cool, dunno if its better than the albums but its one gig i would like to go

Re: editors
Love the Editors , first discovered them on myspace a long time ago and so bought there first album which was great however, not alot of people do like them as one day there album was up for £10 then next day on sale at £5. There best song has to be munich! Absolute class piece of music

Re: editors
Editors had two half decent indie hits a couple of years ago with Bullets and Munich, which were practically the same song anyway.
Every single song sounds the same.
Fair do's to them, they know what silly indie kids will fall for and so reproduce it time after time thus making a mint. However it's a vast understatement to say they're hardly innovative.
These days you can put any tune on enough music channels & FIFA games and people will buy it.

They'd be emo, thems, not indie.* No good either. At least the Editors songs which all sound the same are half decent. I'd rather listen to Maggie Thatcher taking a dump than listen to Fall Out Boy or Panic! At The Disco or any of those.
*Indie bands that I'm referring to would be your Pidgeon Detectives, The Enemy etc. You know - all those wanky bands that all sound the same with their jangly guitars and too many crap lyrics piled into a verse.
