Greatest British Musician?
OK they were all part of great million selling bands - but who was the best at their craft?

-Edge - irish!! -Slash - yank!! -Phil Collins - Martian!!! lol i just dont think Phil Collins even compares to anyone else on that list, cant stand the guy. Plus he is now an official US citizen, claiming that he will only come back to the land of hope and glory if Tories get back in power... ...no one wants that; help society, Vote New Labour |

ok ok everyone to there own, but shouldnt it be past tense for Phil Collins?
as in "phil collins WAS one of the best musicians around..."? when was the last time he did any work? ...you can tell hes a torie haha |

Actually, the Edge is English as are his whole family. Whilst he has lived in Ireland on and off for years he is still a British citizen, not Irish.

Eric Clapton is an excellent musician. Though on balance I have to say that I think Brian May was/is a superb guitarist. There are few about that could match him.
