See that is the whole point of the book,that people get to number one through the novelty factor,just as much as from good music(in fact chart music doesn't have to be good music).Michelle Mcmanus won Pop Idol 2 wasn't it? you won't hear from her again like you won't hear of Rick Waller - coz the novelty has gone - that is one reason anyway!
