Mike Smith RIP
Sad to hear about the loss of the Dave Clark 5's lead singer and organist, Mike Smith. For those of a certain age, their records will always evoke simpler, more innocent times and a vital component of those records was Mike's vocals. RIP Mike.

Great band love their stuff, their song bits & pieces were banned in most dance halls because of fears the floors would go with the then young uns stomping to the beat
 I have a fair few of their songs cos of the infectious beat & one of the best bands of its era Is it still Chelsea that mainly does the 'glad all over' theme at its ground ????
