Musician[s] needed
Hello
I am trying to get an artiste/band for my father's birthday do;preferably a "Ratpack/swing" type thing. So far I have tried every known Ratpack type artiste on the T'internet ;most are booked already and some are just plain ridiculous...£1500 for 2 x 40 mins !!! I could have the real Sinatra dug up for less ! So....any ideas suggestions anyone ? All help much appreciated;the date is 24th Feb.Venue Accrington.

Don`t think I could seriously become a swing musician overnight even though they get paid 10 times as much as we do for half as long.

I realise that it was a band that I suggested that were over priced - sorry, but another suggestion
Hepcat Mike's Swing Shift Mike 01772 631605 swingjumpjive@aol.com He's a DJ that I've booked before, so not quite what you're looking for i.e. not a tribute artiste but he does play the sort of swing music from the 40s and 50s - he dresses in the outfits of the day! |

Sorted it now thanks,a gent from Clitheroe who has been doing the circuit for years is trotting along with his keyboard and a double bass player to knock out some of the jazz/swing standards.Needless to say he is a whole lot cheaper than £1500 !
