I said on another thread that I actually met the guy after a live TV show, he certainly was in love with himself, but is sad when anybody dies RIP

raf regiment corps parish notice Former rafregt sgt cyril nicholas hehty-dodd <known professionallyas tv personality SIMON DEE died on 30th august o9aged 74 born in manchester joined the raf feb53 remustered june 53 to the raf regt april54 promotedto sacvarious postings till june56 then promoted to substantive sgt and posted to 3laa wing at raf akrotiri july 56 a detachment to raf el adem in libya returning to the uk apr57 he was discharged on 16 july 1958 and served a further 4 years on the reserve list he is survived by his third wife judith and four children to whom the corps extends its sincere condolences
