The KBC have been promoted by the Paddingtons a lot. They've given them support slots so I have seen them a few times. They are ok. Great bunch of lads. The Paddingtons and Hard Fi are the best bands IMHO. F/b The Cribs. Kaisers is a great album, poor live, ditto Franz, Ordinary Boys etc... The Paddingtons are probably the best live band in Britain right now. They are playing a gig with the Dirty Pretty Things next month.

The Libs were great, saw them loads, first UK tour, supporting Supergrass, all their own headline UK tours, with Pete, without Pete, with Pete again and finally without him a second time. A secret gig at Liverpool's Zanzibar one night where they blew everyone away was the best. Only the Padds match them.

So Season 2007-2008 was a poor one ? Well....
We got a new roof, & a bar on the Clayton End & a new school in Nepal. Beat an Ex-Premiership side away, had some more tarmac laid over the puddles & saw a 3 inch high header. ASFC Youth system saw youth inthe first team & more importantly we signed a "pub"! Remember 6 points off Morecambe & paid our highest fee ever for a player. All this & still "light" years ahead of Barrow & Worksop!!!!!
