Very impressive album, probably their best stuff since around '96.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Baby 81

Another new album from one of my favourite bands of the past decade. Not generally comercially accepted but their dirty, bluesy rock & roll certainly gets the big thumbs up from me.

The Night - Frankie Valli...a dark, atmospheric record with ole Frankie boy at his dramatic best. Everytime I hear this, I'm back in the sweaty, heady surroundings of Wigan Casino circa 1975.
