Yes, they did sing Final Countdown. Don't know about the Blackburn Rovers though, not into football.

Does anyone remember Bob Mould and the Minniapolis group Husker Du? They eventually got torn apart by internal politics. Nope? I thought not.
Well I'm having a retro moment and listening to his album "Copper Blue" by his next band, Sugar. It was released in 1992.
It was Bob Mould's music that provided the inspiration and impetus for the next generation of American alternative music; The Pixies, Dinosaur Jr & Nirvana amongst others.
