Yes, I know, Shakey. T'was but a lighthearted jest because the sun is shining and we're in the football league and I'm happy. Incidentally, my friendly, neighbourhood record shop is called "Sifters" and the brothers Gallagher have written a song about it, or so I'm told.

I can just see Ian behind the bar pulling the pints and Isaac, Vito, Florrie etc sat over near the games room. Fair takes me back it does....

So Season 2007-2008 was a poor one ? Well.... We got a new roof, & a bar on the Clayton End & a new school in Nepal. Beat an Ex-Premiership side away, had some more tarmac laid over the puddles & saw a 3 inch high header. ASFC Youth system saw youth inthe first team & more importantly we signed a "pub"! Remember 6 points off Morecambe & paid our highest fee ever for a player. All this & still "light" years ahead of Barrow & Worksop!!!!! The Voice of the Terrace WWW.STANLEYULTRAS.CO.UK |

Now I've got Ocean Colour Scene's "Moseley Shoals" on; one of the best albums of the past 15 years or so. Love it.
