Who's the best rock singer ever
I was channel Hopping last night and saw that "Queen in concert in Montreal" was on Sky Arts 1, I watched it and I've been thinking since who is the best rock singer ever. Think Freddie must be well up there with the best of them, he's certainly near the top of my list, his stage presence was electric. another of my favourites is Paul Rogers former front man with Free, who know actually does a lot of work with May, Taylor and Deakin. So who's your all time rock favourite

I'd go for Don Henley of Eagles fame. That's what my mood says today anyway.
I'd best stop editing now as I'll end up listing a million and one of my favourite singers. If we were to go down the proper rock n roll route it would be Roy Orbison as no one comes close. Last edited by shakermaker; 04-04-2009 at 16:58. |

Well of course Elvis was fantastic but there was also Roy Orbison. He had a big range of voice and he always made it look so easy - just stood there and did it.

roy orbison, billy fury,buddy holly,eddie cochrane,elvis,gene vincent all brilliant. freddie mercury, imho one of the best performers of all time
