Re: worst recording ever
Really bad equals good in my book, except for Mistletoe and Wine by Sir Cliff, which is truly dire...but still leaves you humming the damn thing.

Re: worst recording ever
fortunatly Sir Cliff never made it big this side of the Atlantic though I hear he is popular in Tenerife (hi Junie) ,
I think the second worst thing ever recorded was that Grandad thing by Clive Dunn

Re: worst recording ever
You're Beautiful - James Blunt
Anything by him actually.
Truly, truly awful.
This years X-factor song is very badly written but you can't fault the vocals on it.

Re: worst recording ever
Anything by the Smiths or Morrissey - moaning, self-pitying garbage.

Re: worst recording ever
No, I was wrong with my last post, I've thought of something even worse than moaning Mozzer. The complete works of Leonard Cohen...whinging, miserable dirges delivered in a tuneless croak.

you mean you don't like 'music to slash your wrists by' .
Suzanne and Sisters of Mercy are two great songs , though I have to admit both have been covered with less angst by other people
(sorry the link to the original post to the Max Bygraves thing doesn't seem to work )
