08/09 OSC badge and card designs

I know we still have a fair bit of this season left, but I want to start getting some ideas together for next seasons OSC membership card and badge designs.

I was thinking something along the lines of celebrating 40 years since we rose from the ashes...1968 - 2008

come on people give me some ideas to work with....please

you can get some ideas for badge design from here ASFC Pin Badges which shows many of the previous badges.

can't offer much in the way of prizes but what better than seeing your design being posted off all over the world? Once the season is over they go on ebay and we are posting all over the place - and they will go in the gallery for all time on the OSC site!

If anybody has a badge from 68,69 or 1970 when we kicked off again then that might be a good one to resurrect?

Would love to copy the 68 badge if one can be found, changing it slightly to commemerate 40 years!!

I've a feeling there wouldn't have been one then as it took two years to get to the kicking a ball stage. Maybe the fortieth anniversary shouldn't be for another two years!!!!

1968-2008 above the Crest
Below the Crest Forty Years
At the left and Right of the Crest a phoenix
To represent the rise from the Ashes of the old Stanley

sorry to hear that Bazf, think you need to send a pm to macca as I have it down in the membership book as the card and badge sent!! Also the badge is macca's avatar!
