Does anybody read the football snippets on Clubcall on ITV code 524.

I do, especially those relating to teams in the Conference.

Last season there was always an entry for Carlisle, York city,Aldershot, Hereford and for some reason Worcester City.

Does anybody know anything about Clubcall:

Does it cost the club anything.

Is there much income generation.

Would Stanley Supporters use it.

Who would provide the up to-date information.

Would the info be put there any quicker than that provided for this site.

Would it be a good idea to consider it further.

Its a few lines on the latest news for every club in England and Scotland. It is usually updated every day

Its a fan from each team who sends the info in... I recall someone from this forum used to do it and gave up.. I declined to follow in there footsteps..

You would get the news from the official stanley website and then send to teletext..thus teletext would not be the first.. remember news on the official website is updated by someone from the club.. so what you read in there is as they say.. from the horses mouth.

the clubcall stuuf is a waste of time. the ones you see on teletext make up headlines to draw you in and rake in the cash. A total waste of time and something that will no doubt die out sooner rather than later
