New signing
We have signed 20 year old attacking midfielder Romuald Boco from france
Plus Matty Oneil gone on loan and we have signed 20 year old midfielder/striker paul brown on loan See Fishy site for details "has the potential to be one of the biggest signings the club has ever made" sounds like eric rates him highly hope I just hope either of them can play on the right wing!!! Anybody know anything of either of these signings |
Re: New signing
Paul Brown seems an out-and-out winger and appears to have played as often on the right-wing as on the left-wing at Tranmere.
Tranmere profile: http://www.tranmererovers.premiumtv....~30270,00.html Boco seems to be quite an unusual signing for Coley. Played for Niort in the 2nd Division in France last season, but has made a lot of news with Benin in the African Nations Cup earlier this year when Nigeria struggled to beat them in the last-16 and the African Nations Youth Cup when they finished 3rd. Did read that their goalkeeper was murdered after they lost 3-0 in the opening game! And we thought we had keeper troubles! So now we've got players to put in the crosses on both sides to Mully and an exciting attacking midfielder. Sounds like we should score a lot of goals ... |
Re: New signing
Boco played in the reserves at Morecambe last night....looked good :)

Re: New signing
A good friend of mine saw Boco play for the reserves last night and said that he thought Boco had a very good touch. However, due to the lack of quality around him, Boco couldn't really shine.
He sounds like a very interesting signing and I hope he plays a blinder or us every game. ;) |
Re: New signing
He cant speak a word of English though as I noticed last night :D
Hope his agent comes to a few more Stanley games he was hilarious :D |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tragedy hits Youth Championship By Karim Okanla BBC Sport, Cotonou Benin's Yessouffo 'Campos' Samiou died after being attacked The African Youth Championship in Benin has been rocked by the death of a player just two days after the start of the tournament. Benin's under-20 goalkeeper Yessouffo 'Campos' Samiou died in a private clinic in the capital Cotonou on Monday morning. Samiou's death comes after he was attacked by unknown assailants near his hotel on Sunday night. He was apparently admitted to the clinic with neck and arm injuries from the attack. The goalkeeper was part of the Benin team that lost 3-0 to Nigeria in their opening game at the African Youth Championship on Saturday. Thousands of home fans left the stadium before the end of the game, furious at the poor display of the team despite so much investment in the side's preparations. |
